A New Chapter: Board Actions Following Resignations
In the wake of recent board resignations, the remaining members — Jeff Albertson, Joe Lomedico, Steve Rocky, and a student representative — are stepping up to ensure continuity and progress within the district.
With enough members to constitute a quorum, they are taking action to fill the vacant District 3 seat. Applications for this position are now being accepted, with a deadline set for May 17 at 5 p.m. Prospective candidates are encouraged to reach out to Albertson via email to express their interest before the deadline.
The board aims to swiftly fill the vacancy and plans to make a decision at its regular meeting on May 21. Following this, a similar process will be initiated for the District 5 seat, ensuring that all areas of representation within the district remain robust and effective.
